Transparent School Board Elections
Our Mission
Our Mission
We support transparent school board elections throughout Indiana. To achieve this, we will support Transparent School Board legislation that has school board candidates run in the May Primary and declare a political party. Our mission is to make it possible for you to join in this effort and to voice your support for this mission. It is our goal to show Indiana citizens why this issue IS POLITICAL.

Transparent School
Board Elections - why support this?
* Support fiscal responsibility and accountability.
* School boards handle one of the largest local budgets. Transparent school board elections will give the voter a better understanding of where their school board candidates stand on fiscal issues such as spending and accountability.

* Inform voters about School Board Candidates running for office.

* The voter deserves to know who they are voting for, regardless of office. School Board elections should be handled in the same manner as all elected officials to ensure the best candidates are elected to serve the public.

* The voter will have a better understanding of where their school board candidates stand on parental rights, and parental knowledge/consent regarding their children.
* The voter will have a better understanding of where school board candidates stand on:
- mask and vaccine mandates
- school shutdowns
- Critical Race Theory (CRT)
- Diversity Inclusion Equity (DIE)
- Social Emotional Learning (SEL)
- radical racial, sexual and gender pedagogy
- pornographic materials in our shool libraries and classrooms
- Improve the quality and philosophical diversity of school board candidates.
* As with other local races, the County Chairs of both political parties can recruit qualified school board candidates.
* As with other local races, the voters choose the best candidates from each party in the Primary, thereby offering the best choices for voters in the General Election.

* Increase voting participation in school board elections if the public knows the political philosophy of the candidate.
LET’S BREAK THIS DOWN
What is the primary role of public schools in providing our children the finest education possible?
To Educate, Not Indoctrinate
To Teach HOW to think, Not WHAT to think

LET’S REMEMBER
Public schools and school boards work for parents and their children, and tax paying citizens. Parents have a parental right to expect the best possible education for their children. Concerned parents and voters should be heard at school board meetings, Never silenced.
THE RESULT
Transparent school board elections will allow voters to select the candidates who will best serve the interest of the students and their parents.
